the KAHVI House ("we," "us," "our") runs a coffee shop at 207 N Dennis St, Kennewick, WA 99336. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, when you text us or give it to us at the counter for rewards.
- Your name, if you give it to us, so we can call out your order.
- Order details — what you ordered and when — so we can make it, take payment, and track your punch card and points.
- Basic website data, such as which pages get visited. This is not tied to your identity.
We do not collect or store your card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and your card details go to them, not to us.
How we use it
- To take, make, and hand you your order.
- To text you back — order confirmations, a payment link, or a note that your drink is ready.
- To run the rewards program and the Kahvi Club.
- To answer questions about catering, hours, and the menu.
Text messaging and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services — such as our text messaging platform and our payment processor — is permitted solely so that we can operate the service you asked for.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers who make the shop run — our text messaging platform, our payment processor, and our point-of-sale system. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We do not sell your information to anyone, for any reason.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order and rewards history for as long as you are a customer. Ask us to delete your information and we will, except where we are required to keep records for tax or accounting purposes.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message. See our Text Message Terms for detail.
- See, correct, or delete what we hold: call or text us and ask. We will take care of it.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
The shops inside our building
onyxbrows., BMV Studio, Aromaé Skin and Soft Life Esthetics are independent businesses that rent space in our building. They handle their own bookings and their own customer information. This policy does not cover them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
